Ronald Bright, Sr., 65, of Carrollton, KY., died on Friday afternoon, November 14, 2008 at his residence in Carrollton, KY.
He was born in Ponca City, OK., on July 6, 1943 the son of the late James Oliver Bright and Nina (Cook) Burgert. He was a Union Boilmaker for the Boilmakers Union #105 out of Chillicothe, OH. He was of the Christian Faith.
Survivors include a son; Roanld L. Bright, Jr.and his wife Janey of Vandalia, IL., a daughter; Stephanie Lynn Banta of Louisville, KY., two brothers; Lloyd Bright of Ponca City, OK., and Danny Bright of Franklin, MO., a sister; Norma Spratt of Waverly, TN., a granddaughter; Amanda D. Bright of Carrollton, KY., and three great grandchildren.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Sharon Lemoine (1965),a sister; Linda Burgert, a grandson; Tyler Matthew Bright (2003)
Direct Cremation has been chosen by the family with no services planned. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Jewish Hospital Staff for there excellant care.
