Ronnie Phillips

Ronnie Dale Phillips, age 62, of Sparta, KY passed this life on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY.  He was born on July 23, 1956 in Covington, Kenton County, KY to George John and Anna Catherine Phillips.  He attended Open Door Baptist Church, enjoyed watching old westerns on television and was a driver for Bavarian Trucking in Walton, Ky for 8 years.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Ann Bailey Phillips whom he married on June 12, 1979, nine daughters, Tracy Lynn Maloney of Falmouth, KY, Lisa Marie Johnson of Ghent, KY, Kimberly Ann Roberts of Owenton, KY, Elizabeth Dale Owens of Carrollton, KY, Laura Jane Combs of Owenton, KY, Barbara Jean Davis of Sparta, KY, Kelly Brooke Bolton of Worthville, KY, Chrissy Alana Jones of Sparta, KY and Tanith Jones of Sparta, KY; 3 sons, Michael Chad Phillips of Florence, KY, James Madison Phillips of Owenton, KY and Tyler Edward Jones of Sparta, KY; three sisters, Eunice Leonard of Owenton, KY, Josephine Cynthia Phillips of Florence, KY and Tammy Phillips of Mt. Zion, KY; a brother, George John Phillips, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN and twenty-two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant children, an infant sister and three grandchildren.
