Rosa Hollon

Rosa Lee "Rose" Hollon, 66, of Owenton, KY.,died on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY.
She was born on January 24, 1945 in Malaga, Wolfe County, KY., the daughter of the late Newt and Betty Tolson Taulbee. She had formerly worked at the former Dayton-Walther Plant in Carrollton in the machine shop. She was of the baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Shona Marshall of Lexington, IN., her son, Robert Taulbee of Carrollton, KY., four sisters, Dorothy Jean Johnson of Mt. Sterling, KY., Pearl Warfield of Middletown, OH., Flora Peddicord of Walton, KY., and Betty Jo Hearn of Owenton, KY., nine grandchildren and eight great grandchilden also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leeander Hollon, daughter, Tracy Beach, son, Richard Lee Hollon, sister, Geraldine Smiley, brothers, Roy, James and Richard Taulbee.
A memorial service is planned on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. David "Milkweed" Wotier officiating the service. Cremation has been chosen by the family.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
