Rosemary Ramsey

Rosemary Cope Ramsey, 71, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at her son's residence in Carrollton.
She was born in Greenfield, Highland County, OH on May 8, 1937 to Thomas Leroy and Cora England Cope, who preceded her in death. She retired in 2007 after 22 years as Deputy PVA Clerk in the Carroll County Property Valuation Administrator's office. Rosemary was a member of St. John Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion Post #41 Ladies Auxiliary, the Legion's T-ball and G-ball league, active many years in the Carroll County High School Athletic Boosters and a former teacher's aid for th Carroll County Head Start program.
She is survived by a daughter; Joellen Ramsey of Carrollton, KY and a son Douglas W. Ramsey of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son; James T. Ramsey, and 3 brothers; Robert, Thomas and Pearl Cope.
Celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial was be Rev. Kavungal Davy, Pastor of St. John Catholic Church on Friday, October 17, 2008.
Memorial gifts were given to the Jim Ramsey Memorial Tennis Tournament in care of the funeral home.
