Roy Lee Hicks, 63, of Carrollton, KY., died on January 5, 2011 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on April 3, 1947 in Carrollton, KY., the son of the late Charles and Mary Ellen Ferris Hicks. Mr. Hicks was retired from Arvin - Meritor in Carrollton and a member of the Calvary Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include his wife; Vonda McGuire - Hicks, a daughter; Kimberley Peggy Hicks of Prestonville, KY., sons; Bryan McGuire of Sanders, KY, Jeff McGuire of Carrollton, KY., and Michael McGuire of Worthviulle, KY., a sister; Christine Garrett of Las Vegas, NV., brothers; Junior Hicks of Austin, IN., David Hicks of Carrollton, KY., and Billy Hicks of Indiana along with ten grandchildren also surviving.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Timothy Lee Hicks and a brother; Bobby Hicks.
Memorial Services were on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll "Bimp" McAlister and Rev. Mike Stevens officiating the service.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
