Roy Glenn Howell, 70, of Worthville, KY., died on Tuesday , May 27, 2008 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 9, 1938 in Perry Park, Owen County, KY., the son of the late George Washington and Sophia (Bates) Howell. He was retired from Liter's Quarry.
Survivors include his wife; Annie Marie Howell, two daughters; Joann Snow and Sherri Lilly of Worthville, KY., three sons; Gary Wayne, Ricky Glenn and Michael Ray Howell all of Worthville, KY., a sister; Goldene Slusher of Carrollton, KY., and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Amy and Charlie Howell and one granddaughter;Brandie Michelle Snow.
The Rev. Stan Reedy officiated a graveside service on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Owenton, KY.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
