Roy Sanders

Roy Glyn Sanders, 84, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday morning at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on July 30, 1925 in Henry County, KY., the son of the late Tommy and Mable Arnold Sanders. Roy was a retired building contractor in the Carroll County Community. He served his country in W.W.II. in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years; Ernestine Jones Sanders, two daughters; Renee Drury of Redmond, WA., and Regina Danaher Smith of LaGrange, KY., a son; Barry G. Sanders of Lagrange, KY., eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; William H. Sanders.
Funeral Services were at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Indiana Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Madison ,IN.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Gifts were given to the Carrollton Christian Church or the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
