Ruby Graham

Ruby Meadows Graham, 88, of Vevay, IN., and Carrollton, KY., died on Monday, May, 3, 2010 at Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.

She was born in English, Carroll County, KY., on April 26, 1921 the daughter of the late Andrew and Ida (McQueen) Patton. Ruby was retired from the U.S. Shoe Factory in Vevay after 24 years of service. She was a member of the Vevay, IN VFW 5396 Ladies Auxiliary, she was very active in many activities with the VFW and held various positions. She was a member of American Legion in Vevay and the Loyal Order of the Cooties in Vevay. Ruby was a member of the English Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter; Sharon Sue (Michael ) Hartman of Carrollton, KY., three sons; Bennie Wayne Meadows of Carrollton, KY., Steve (Violet) Meadows of Carrollton, KY., and Ronnie (Janice) Meadows of Carrollton, KY., two step-sons; Steve (Jenny) Graham of Hanover, IN., and Jason (Vonnie) Graham of Ashland, KY., a sister; Dora (Patton) Maiden, thirteen grandchildren, twenty two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1st Husband - Benny Meadows (1980) 2nd-Husband - Loren Graham (2000), Daughter - Oueda Jane Patton, Half-Sisters- Mini Carpenter, Ruth Patton, Callie Felabaum and Clara Patton, Half-Brothers - John, Joe, L.D., Shirley and Marvin Lee Patton and Paul Johnson.

Funeral Services were at 1:00 P.M. , Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Family Worship Center.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
