Ruby Hedden

Ruby G. Hedden, 97, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday morning at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY.

She was born in Franklin County, KY., the daughter of the late James H. and Martha Susan Wilson Gibbs. Ruby was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Her other memberships include the Carrollton Homemakers for over 50 years, the TLC Sunday School Class, the Rebekah Lodge in Carrollton and the W.O.M.("Women On Mission" church organization)

Survivors include her daughter; Alma Jean Smith of Nicholasville, KY., a sister; Elizabeth Sanders of Frankfort, KY., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Mahlon V. "Doc" Hedden in April 1978.

The Rev. Chris White will officiate the Funeral Service on Saturday at the First Baptist Church.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
