Ruby Helen Shirley, 90, of Sanders, KY., died on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY.
She was born in Sanders, Carroll County, KY.,on May 27, 1920 the daughter of the late Tom and Grace Ells Groves. Ruby was a homemaker and a housewife. She was a member of the Sanders Baptist Church.
Jack and Ruby married on August 25, 1947
She will be missed by her husband; Jack Shirley, her son; Bill G. Shirley of Sanders, KY., one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Howard and Walter Groves.
Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
