Ruth Duncan

Ruth Maureen Duncan, 80, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on December 8, 1933 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of Fred G. Ashcraft and Anna B. Kemper Ashcraft. She was a sever at Welch's Riverside Restaurant in Carrollton. She had worked at the former Rich Ladder Company in Carrollton and the former Carrollton Redryer Company.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Welch, Debbie Oak and Tammy Wilson, all of Carrollton, KY, a son, William Dale Duncan of Bedford, KY, a step-daughter, Brenda Poe of Milton, KY, four sisters, Joyce Jones and Thelma Readnour, both of Turners Station, KY, Barbara Brassfield of Madison, IN, and Norma Reed of Hodgenville. KY, fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and seven great - great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lester Dale "Rusty" Duncan on June 7, 2007, a daughter, Darlene Harmon, sisters, Virginia Reeves, Marjorie Moore and Ruth Cook and one infant sister, brothers, Orville, Paul, John Junior & Goldie Ashcraft, an infant brother and a half brother, Charles Cloy. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Funeral Services were on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating the service. Visitation was on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Pallbearers will be Cheston Robbins, Gene Stangle, Bryan, Adam and Greg Wilson and Charles Oak.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation was on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
