Sarah Ann Bruner, 76, of Carrollton, KY., died on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Carroll County, KY., the daughter of Clarence and Kabie Alma Beach Yager, who preceded her in death. Ann was a former employee of Wirz Tube factory, an Avon representative for many years, and a homemaker and member of Valley Christian Church. Her most enjoyable and happy times was when she was with her family, family gatherings and planning family holiday events. Her favorite time was Christmas, enjoying buying gifts, decorating the house and yard and cooking. Snow, snow and more snow made her so happy looking forward to getting out in it riding, playing and shoveling. Ann also enjoyed planting flowers, gardening and her rose bushes. She liked to collect bird figurines, decorative plates and miscellaneous what-nots. She also loved her longtime pets, Tomboy her cat and Angel her poodle dog.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton, two daughters, Debbie (Terry) Cauley of Carrollton, KY and Cheryl (Jerry) Hogan of Mt. Home, AR; a son, Dale (Rita) Tingle of Eminence, KY; a sister, Waunita Warren of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, Wes Cauley and Clay Cauley of Carrollton, KY, Dawn Tingle of Eminence, KY and Cheyenne Hogan of Mt. Home, AR. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Bud Yager and Buster Yager and three sisters, Helen Yager, Catherine Yager and Corinne Apple.
The Rev. Chris White officiated funeral services on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY. Pallbearers were Sandy Abbott, Derrick Mershall, Mike Kelley, Terry Cauley, Jerry Hogan and Stewart Osborne.
