Sharon Lacefield

Sharon Fay Lacefield, 62, of Carrollton, KY., died on Friday evening at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born in Madison, IN., on September 27, 1943 the daughter of the late Harold Fay and Sara Greene Shepherd. She was a retired school teacher for the Carroll County Vocational School and a Registered Nurse. Sharon was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 38 years (December 9, 1967); Ronald E. Lacefield, two sons; Craig Lacefield of Bedford, KY., and Aaron Lacefield of Carrollton, KY., two sisters; Diane Bickers of Florence, KY., and Maureen Couch of Carrollton, KY., five grandchildren also survive; Eden, Dane, Nadja, Mitchell and Brynne Lacefield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Rev. Amanda Hines will conduct the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Lacefield, Jerry Bickers, Matt Smith, Mike Roeder, Cedric Peachy and Dr. Cecil Martin.

Memorial Gifts are suggested to the Carrollton Christian Church in care of the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
