Stanley Hunt

Stanley Hunt, 76, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, July 10, 2023, in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on September 30, 1946, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late James William Hunt and Mary Ellen Hunter Hunt. Stanley had served his Country faithfully as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War Era. He had worked for many years at the former Kawneer Factory in Milton, KY, as a Supervisor in the Print Room and Packing Department. After many years at the Kawneer Factory and until it closed, he went to work for Orkin Pest Control Company as a Regional Route Manager. He held membership in the Carrollton American Legion Post #41 and enjoyed watching Thoroughbred Racing.

Stanley is survived by two sons, Jamison Hunt of Winchester, KY, and Brian Allen Hunt of Carrollton, KY; a sister, Cathy Hunt Spivey of Comanche, TX; and a granddaughter, Kay Marie Hunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Steve, George William, and Charles Russell Hunt, and a sister, Aileen Hunt Hearn.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the funeral home. The burial will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project in the care of the funeral home.
