Sylvia Breeck

Sylvia “Betty” Breeck, 91, of Carrollton, KY,  died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the River Terrace Health Campus in Madison, IN.

She was born on January 16, 1927 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late William L. Arvin and Molly Mary Lena Robbins Arvin.  She had retired from the Reliance Electric Company in Madison  in 1991 as a assembly line worker.   She was the former owner of Betty’s Ceramic Shop in Carrollton.   She was member of the Carrollton Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Grobmier of Louisville, KY, and David Grobmier of Livermore, CA, two sisters, Norma Greene of Bedford, KY,  and Margaret Salyers of Frankfort, KY, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one step grandchild and two step great-grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leon Breeck in 1972, two sisters, Mary Spivey and Elizabeth Meade, and a brother, Sanford “Sandy” Arvin
