Terry Hughes

Terry Lee Hughes, 73, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.

He was born in Ghent, Carroll County, KY, on May 4, 1948, the son of the late Joe H. Hughes and Minnie Clara Bell Hughes.  He had previously worked for the former Elf-Atochem Chemical Factory in Carrollton for 32 years as a material handler.  He was a member of the Ghent Baptist Church.  Terry had served his Country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

Terry will be missed by his wife, Beverly “Bev” Fishback Hughes of Carrollton, KY,  two son’s Kenneth Dale Hughes of Florence, KY, and Joe Paul Hughes of Louisville, KY, a daughter, Mackenzie Whittamore of Lexington, KY, two sisters, Linda Cole of Turners Station, KY, and Sandy Tomlinson of Carrollton, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Stuart Rodney Hughes and a brother, Jackie Hughes.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
