The Sellers Family

Carrollton

On an early morning on October 17, 2024 The Sellers Family were called home to begin their eternal lives together.

The life of Jessica Margaret Sellers began December 26, 1981 to James and Shirley Gibson Sr. in Carrollton, Kentucky. At an early age Jessica developed a passion for basketball following in the footsteps of her older brother Joe, playing all the way through high school. Jessica became a mother in the summer of 1999. With the challenges of motherhood Jessica managed to graduated early in 2000 from Mosley High School in Lynn Haven, FL. Jessica furthered her education at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, FL and became a Registered Nurse in 2004. Also that year she met her forever love, Heath whom she later wed in 2005. From this union she became a mother twice more. Her drive for upward mobility continued as she earned her Masters Degree in 2020 and became a Nurse Practitioner at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in 2021 where she served her community faithfully. She is survived by her devoted husband Heath Sellers of Carrollton, KY, parents and grandparents James and Shirley Gibson of Ghent, KY, brothers James L. Gibson Jr. (Leeann) of Perry Park, KY, Joseph Gibson (Tamanda) of Ghent, KY, and sister Julie Marie Lord (Vince Hilliard) of Pinellas Park, FL.

The life of Emilee Belle Boswell began June 3, 1999 in Panama City, FL. One of her first loves was softball, inspired by her first coach and step-father Heath who she affectionately called "Heafie". She prospered in school while achieving academic excellence and graduated with honors from Carroll County High School in 2017 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Emilee was a music lover and indeed a Swiftie. In 2020 Emilee herself became a mother and gave birth to her daughter Raylynn. Emilee has also served her community at Carroll County Memorial Hospital and KDH. Her additional survivors are her daughter Raylynn Grace Boswell of Carrollton, KY, father Justin Pennington of Panama City, FL, grandmother Mary Ann Pennington of Panama City, FL and her devoted partner Eric Graham of Madison, IN.

The life of Coleton Heath Sellers began September 22, 2006 in Panama City, FL. He was an avid video game player with his friends and a die hard college football and basketball fan of Alabama (Roll Tide!). He studied sports down to the statistical level and loved sharing his random sports knowledge. Coleton, much like his sister Emilee, excelled in academics and cared about school. His love for sports carried over in high school as he was a manager for the basketball team where he was known as "COCO". He was also an active member of the Pep Club. Coleton is a recent graduate of Carroll County High School, Class of 2024. He was a current enrollee at JCTC furthering his education and also an employee at Parks and Recreation. He was a recipient of the Future 42 scholarship and aspired to earn a degree in robotics and electricial engineering.

The life of Deacon James Sellers began September 15, 2014 in Louisville, KY. Much like his brother Coleton, he too was an avid video gamer playing his favorite VR game Gorilla Tag. In his younger days rarely would you see Deacon without his tablet watching his favorite show "Paw Patrol" until he later became a big fan of the Marvel Universe. He loved sharing YouTube clips with his dad. Much like his siblings Deacon also had a deep love of sports. He was a three sport athlete in baseball, basketball, and football. Deacon was known for his big smile, big heart, and upbeat positive personality. Again like his siblings he was an excellent student and enjoyed learning and was a member of the Student Technical Leadership Program.

Coleton and Deacon are additionally survived by their sister Emily Sellers, Dothan, AL, grandparents Mitchell and Debbie Sellers of Cottonwood, AL, and aunts Dana Peters (Josh) of Dothan, AL, and Brooke Bell (Daniel) of Huntsville, AL.

They were all members or attendees of the Worthville Baptist Church in Worthville, KY. In addition to the listed survivors, there is a large host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends that love and support the Sellers, Gibson, and Boswell families.
