Thomas Fornash

Thomas Leo "Tom" Fornash, 81, of Carrollton, KY, died on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on April 20, 1932 in Erlanger, Kenton County, KY., the son of the late Sherman Thomas Fornash and Anna Catherine Turner Fornash. He was a retired Postal Service Clerk from the United States Post Office in Vero Beach, FL. He had an Associates Degree from the Providence College in Electrical Engineering. He had coached for over 40 years in various places, most recently a assistant football coach for the Carroll County High School Football Program. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
He had served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps., having served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his son, Sean Fornash of Hudson, NH., daughters, Mary Rae of Radcliff, KY, Michelle Boynton of Asbury, MA, Margaret Shoumackir of Baltic, OH, and Thomasina "Tammy" Moore of Tampa, FL, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Anne Marie O'Brien Fornash and his second wife, Roberta Fornash, his daughters, Ann Wiltz and Elizabeth L. Fornash, a brother, Robert Fornash, sisters, Faye Herncane, Billie Kelly, Betty Randall. Shirley Rieselman and Victoria Loechle.
Funeral Services were on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Noon at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton with the Dr. Chris White officiating the service. Burial was in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Oneida Baptist Church Institute or the First Baptist Church Youth Group, in care of the funeral home.
Visitation
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to Noon on Monday at the church.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Noon at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton with the Dr. Chris White officiating the service.
Interment
Graveside service will be on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.
