Thomas Kopp

Thomas Alden "Tommy" Kopp, 58, of Worthville, KY. died on November 10, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Tommy was born in Madison, Jefferson County, IN., on April 29, 1951 to John H. and Dorothy Gross Kopp. He was a member of the Worthville Baptist Church and a mechanic for Becon Corporation. He also served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife; Carol Rose Kopp, a son; William T. Kopp of Pikeville, KY, a sister; Ollie Kopp of Frankfort, KY and a brother; Patrick Kopp of Carrollton, KY.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother; John Kopp.

Funeral Services were on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Young officiating the service. Burial was in the Worthville Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers were: Ben Smith, Patrick Kopp, Sonny Schout, Raymond Godman, Dale Mefford and Bill Mefford. Honorary Pallbearers were: Tommy Rose, Fran Wrenn and Randy Rose.

Military Honors were conducted by the Honor Guard of American Legion Post #41 - Carrollton, KY

Memorial Gifts were given to the Carroll County Relay for Life in care of the funeral home.
