Valeda Angie Leach Rodgers, 69, died on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
She was born on May 1, 1942 in Milton, Trimble County, KY., the daughter of the late James Cleston and Vera Etta Hanlon Leach. She was a former waitress and cashier at the Ogle Haus in Vevay,IN.
She will be missed by her daughters, Cathy Horner of Carrollton, KY., and Bobbie Tilley of Carrollton, KY., Sons, Ryan Rodgers of Fairfax, VA., and Shain Rodgers of Worthville, KY., a half-brother, Mike Leach of Hanover, IN., five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby R. Rodgers, a sister, Dian Harmon and a brother, Windell Leach.
Funeral Services were on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Mahoney officating the service. Burial was in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
