Velma Taylor

January 17, 1929 — December 26, 2012

Mrs. Taylor, 83, was born in Carroll County, KY., on January 17, 1929 to Otis and Bessie Kindle Kindoll. She was a member of Port Royal Baptist Church, had been an active member of the "General Butler's" square dance club and was retired after 35 years of service from Conn Organ Company.

She is survived by three daughters; Tammy Beach of Carrollton, KY, Sheila McAlister of Turners Station, KY and Cindy Chadwell of Carrollton, KY. Two sisters, Geneva Smith of Miamisburg, OH and Joyce Raisor of Louisville, KY. Five grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J.W. Taylor, three brothers, Charles Eugene "Gene" Kindoll, Elmer Kindoll and Otis Kindoll, one sister, Corrine Trinkle and one granddaughter, Jennifer Gwen Smith.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, KY. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will take place in the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Hospice of the Bluegrass in care of the funeral home.

Visitation-Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 5:00 P.M.-8: P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, KY.
