Vivian Lee Brightwell

Vivian Lee Brightwell, 68, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, February 20, 2023, at the Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, IN.

She was born on January 22, 1955, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Richard Lee “Buzz” Brightwell and Vivian M. Sanders Brightwell. Vivian had retired from the Carrollton Wal-Mart as a sales associate and also had worked as a house cleaner. She was of the baptist faith and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Vivian is survived by two daughters; Yolanda Brightwell and Tamara Brightwell both of Carrollton, KY, two sisters; Doris J. Ritchie and Juanita Marie Brightwell, both of Carrollton, KY, three brothers; Jeffrey Wayne “Bodean” Brightwell of Carrollton, KY, Steven C. Brightwell of Clarksville, TN, and Timothy Earl “Tim” Brightwell of Carrollton, KY, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Pamela Jo Brightwell and a brother; Gary Newby.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
