Walter Lee Proctor

Walter Lee "Bud" Proctor, 87, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, November 23 2014 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

He was born on September 4, 1927 in Bedford, Trimble County, KY, h the son of the late Walter Franklin Proctor and Gertrude (Ball) Proctor. He was a former Manager for Swifty Oil Company and Kocolene Oil Company. He had also worked in several local factories. He was of the Baptist faith.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He will be missed by his wife, Virgie Allene (Penn) Proctor of Carrollton, KY, a daughter, Bonnie Sue (Edgar) Brumback of Carrollton, KY, two sons, James Thomas (Shari) Proctor of Carrollton, KY, and John Franklin (Shelley) Proctor of Carrollton, KY, nine grandchildren, Jennifer Brumback (Rocky) McMurray of Aurora, IN, Steven Brumback of Milton, KY, Dusty (Kayla) Proctor of Carrollton, KY, Scott Proctor of Carrollton, KY, Luke Proctor of Carrollton, KY, Jarrod Proctor of Carrollton, KY, Cody Proctor of Carrollton, KY, Jesse Proctor of Carrollton, KY, and Deidra Proctor of Carrollton, KY and three great grandchildren, Dalton McMurray, Emily McMurray and Garrison Brumback also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Harry Thomas Proctor, James W. Proctor and Charles Proctor, four sisters, Magnolia Perry, Bessie Mahoney, Claudia Crafton and Harriett Proctor.

Funeral Services were on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Dino Earls officiating the service. Visitation was on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Burial was in the English Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

Pallbearers will be Steven Brumback, Jarrod Proctor, Dusty Proctor, Cody Proctor, Jesse Proctor and Scott Proctor.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jennifer McMurray, Deidra Proctor, Luke Proctor and Billy Childs.

Visitation

Visitation was on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
