Wayne James

Wayne was born in New Albany, IN to Elmer James and Wanda Fay Huckleberry James. He was a nurse with an agency performing duties at several nursing facilities and was a member of the Baptist faith.

His survivors include his parents; Elmer and Debra James of Pendleton, KY and Wanda James and Merlin Donohue of Jeffersonville, IN, a son; Jaiden James of Louisville, KY, fiance; Amanda Merideth of Louisville, KY, brother; Preston James, USAF, England, sisters; Janessa Simmons - Bedford, KY, Selina Thomas - Pendleton, KY, Barbara Hagins, Judy Crabtree, Misty James, Jonna James, Sarah James and Brandy Murphy all of Jeffersonville, IN, paternal grandmother; Charlene James - Floyds Knobs, IN and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was a very caring, intelligent, spiritual minded young man, an avid reader always in search of more knowledge. Greatly loved by all who knew him.

Memorial Services were on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Sligo Baptist Church.
