Wesley Harl Day

Wesley Harl Day, age 66, of Milton, Carroll County, KY,  passed away at his home on Monday evening, June 26, 2023.  He was born on March 26, 1957, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY to John Alfred and Mauda Kathryn Danner Day.  He was a member of the Eagle Creek Apostolic Church.  Wesley retired as a truck driver for I.K.T. Trucking, formerly worked at Kentucky Utilities Ghent Generating Station where he unloaded coal and was formerly on the mowing crew for the Carroll County Road Department.  He loved “power lifting” weights, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, working in the yard, and gardening.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife; Joanie Kay Gordon Day whom he married on July 27, 1984, his brothers; Jonathan Day of Hanover, IN, Blaine Day of Milton, KY and Mark Day of Milton, KY.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Gregory Steven Day. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Sean Waldrip officiating.  Visiting hours will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 30, 2023, at the funeral home.
