Wilda Davis

Wilda Jo Davis,  83, of Florence, KY, formerly of Carrollton, KY,  died on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in Erlanger, KY.

She was born on March 6, 1935 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Orville and Virginia Dolby Hendricks.  She had retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a Market Recorder in the Tobacco Industry after twenty years.  She had formerly served as Chairman and a Board Member on the Carroll County Board of Education.  She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton and a member of the Port Orange Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, FL.

She is survived by three sons, Mark (Kathy) Davis of Carrollton, KY, Tom (Connie) Davis of Union, KY, and Chuck (Susan) Davis of Louisville, KY, a sister, Ann Carrico of Bedford, KY, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father who died on September 16, 1993 and her mother who died on  April 23, 2006, her husband, Gene Davis, who died on December 7, 2012, and a brother, Raymond Hendricks, who died on January 29, 2018.
