Willanna DeVore
May 28, 1912 — August 3, 2005
Willanna Adele Tanner DeVore, 93, of Covington, KY., formerly of the Sanders, KY. area, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Rosedale Manor in Covington, KY.
She was born in Sanders, KY., the daughter of the late William J. Tanner and Stella Furnish. Willanna was a former store clerk for Clover Farm Store in Sanders, KY., and she was also former custodian for Sanders Baptist Church. She was a life long member of Sanders Baptist Church. Willanna enjoyed sewing, sharing her talent with many folks in the Carroll County area.
She will be missed by her loving daughter; Flora DeVore Roland of Erlanger, KY., a sister; Christine Roberts of Louisville, KY., three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband; Barney A. DeVore in 1975.
The Rev. Hardin Lowe will conduct the funeral service on Sunday at the funeral home.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
