Willetta Searcy

Willetta Bond Searcy, 99, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton.

She was born on January 4, 1914 in Owen County, KY, the daughter of the late Robert C. Bond and Nina Glass Bond. She was the youngest of four children. She had attended and graduated from the former Worthville High School in Worthville, KY. She joined the Worthville Christian Church early in her life was later a member of the Whites Run Christian Church. She spent most of her life on the family farm on Boone Road in Carroll County. She will be remembered for her love of animals and dedication to her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Agnes Ann Andrews and her husband Warren of Richardson, TX, and her son, Richard Bond Searcy and wife Barbara of Booneville, KY, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard W. Searcy, two sisters, Thelma Dean and Katherine Grasch, a brother, Herschel Bond, and a grandson, Paul Searcy.

Funeral Services were on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Barnes officiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Visitation

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Barnes officiating the service.

Interment

I.O.O.F. Cemetery - Carrollton, KY.
