William Owen "Bill" Carrico, age 70, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Madison, Jefferson County, IN on December 3, 1945 to James William and Addie Pearl Jones Carraco. He was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church and was retired with 33 years of service as a chemical operator at ATOChem (formerly M&T Chemicals) in Carrollton, KY. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, serving in Germany. He was a member of the American Legion Post #41 — Carrollton and a member of the former Report Inn Baseball team.
Survivors include his wife, Ann S. Hendricks Carrico, a son, Joshua Lee Carrico of Carrollton, KY, a daughter-in-law, Allison M. Carrico of Carrollton, KY, four sisters, Deb Carraco (Mike) Ferris of Fortville, OH, Patti (Roger) Gaddie of Bedford, KY, Donna Kilburn of Madison, IN and Tammy (Melvin) Abbott of Campbellsburg, KY, three brothers, Farrell Carraco of Anderson, IN, Bobby Zering of Madison, IN and Steven Zering of Madison, IN, three grandchildren, Caleb Oeffinger, Gracie Carrico and Mason Owen Carrico all of Carrollton, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, William Scott Carrico (May '15).
