William Gerald "Bill" Cecil, 70, of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday morning, June 20, 2010 at his residence in Carrollton.
He was born on March 16, 1940 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY., the son of the late William Truman and Anna Evelyn Cambron Cecil. Bill was a retired Auto Body Mechanic and of the Catholic Faith. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years and followed by four years in the National Guard. He enjoyed going to Car Cruise's and Car Shows throughout the area.
He married Patricia Ann Meaux on October 29, 2007
He will be missed by his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Meaux Cecil, his daughters; Renee' Cecil Guidry of Antioch, CA., Marshiela Cecil Sager of Lafayette, LA., sons; Michael A. Cecil of Rayne, LA., and Matthew A. Cecil of Carencro, LA., step-daughters; Tamara Comeaux of Carencro, LA., and Tonya Morin of Carencro, LA., a step-son; Colby Fontenot of Carencro, LA., three sisters; Mary Verna Ritcher, Ameila Tyra and Sharon Cardwell all of Louisville, KY., a brother; John Cecil of Louisville, KY., eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
