William Lindsay

William Curtis "Bill" Lindsay, 88, of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday morning, June 26, 2012 at the Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton.
He was born on June 23, 1924 in Carrollton, Kentucky, the son of the late Benjamin H. Lindsay and Kathleen Shirley Lindsay. He worked for the First National Bank of Carrollton where he retired as head cahier after 50 years of service.
He was in the U.S. Army during the WWII Era. He was the former Treasurer for the Carrollton Tobacco Board of Trade and former Treasurer for the Carroll County Fair Board. He was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church.
He will be missed by his wife, Mary K. Lindsay, Carrollton, KY.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, one daughter, Lisabeth Ann Lindsay and one brother, Robert Hopkins Lindsay.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Carrollton Christian Church. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carrollton Christian Church and burial will be at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Carrollton, Kentucky.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the Carrollton Christian Church.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
