William Yeary

William Edward "Bill" Yeary, 69, of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, May 16, 2016 at his residence in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on May 20, 1946 in Clay County, KY, the son of the late Aster Zack Yeary and Edith Bowling Yeary. He was retired from the General Electric Company in Louisville, KY, as a factory worker after 30 years of service. He loved GOD and attended the Worthville Christian Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post #41 in Carrollton.

He had served his country honorably during the Vietnam Era in the United States Army.

He loved to Travel and collect old cars. He will be remembered most by his generosity to serve others.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jett Yeary of Carrollton, KY, two sons, William Yeary, Jr. and Michael Ray Yeary, both of Carrollton, KY, two brothers, Charles Yeary of Carrollton, KY, and Wayne Yeary of Worthville, KY, two sisters, Berlis Hudson of Worthville, KY, and Naomia Baker of Dayton, OH, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larry and Lonnie Yeary, and one sister, Blanche Ann Yeary Dempsey.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home .

Interment

Burial will be in the Worthville Cemetery in Worthville, KY.
